Family Days Out Collection - 4 Books

The Family Days Out series has been developed to provide a starting point for discussion about families and how these can be made up in many different ways.

Each hardback book in this collection emphasises the importance of spending time together and shows how family members can support and help each other. The picture books with bold illustrations are full of fun and humour and show a range of family set-ups including two mums, two dads, a young carer looking after her disabled mum and a step-family.

The series encourages young children to learn to respect people’s differences and treat all kinds of family fairly and without discrimination.
